The Quantum Connection

There is a secret war going on between Humanity and an alien civilisation. The only problem is humanity is unaware of the war; at least most humans are unaware.
The United States have invented Warp speed and with it sent a few probes around the universe, unfortunately the probes have upset some aliens and they have declared war on the Earth.
Steve Montana has his whole family wiped out by a freak meteor storm only it was a directed assault by the aliens.
Steve get involved and end up in space, in fact ends up captured by the aliens and awaiting torture. He must escape and thwart the aliens plan of complete domination of the earth.

This story follows on from 'Warp Speed' and sadly there are many references back to that book. It spoils the book a bit if you haven't read that one. The writing however is good and the action and plot never slackens.
All in all a very good read and one you can get into on the beach.
