This is an amazing book and its really inspirational!

Reva Mann is the daughter of a leading London Rabbi and Granddaughter of a former Chief Rabbi of Israel so you would expect her to be perfect. This book chronicles her rebellion as a teenager, her move to Israel, strict orthodox marriage, children, divorce, love affair and cancer.

The book is really well written I found my self laughing and crying as I was reading it, I had to read it as quickly as I could! Through the tragedy in her life-that she invites us into very eloquently- you get a real sense of how she was feeling and how she bravely coped, leaving me feeling uplifted.

This book is quite graphic in it portrayal of drug use and sex, so may not be for everyone but as a non-jew I found the details about orthodox jewish life really interesting and learnt lots of things that I never knew.
