paperbacks which makes it more competitive. Anyway, the one thing I always check out when in there is the Half Price Book of the Week which not long back was Jane Casey s The Missing. It concerns a young woman whose younger brother goes missing when she was a llittle girl. The brother is never found and the life of her family falls apart. Fast forward many years later, she is a new teacher, going about the daily grind of her life who decides to head home a little earlier than usual, goes for an afternoon run and stumbles upon the body of one of her schoolkids.
