Compelling Child abuse, incest and the like

Addictive, horrifying Haunting

Draws old plot threads to a close, greater focus on the other Endless. Tedious length, pointless distractions, irritating inconsistencies and some bad jokes.

A well-conceived break from the Endless plot, with a great team of artists. Uneven and uninspired in places.

Neil Gaiman hurls readers headlong into a conclusive epic. If you haven't been keeping up, you won't understand. Even if you have, you'll probably be confused.

Will keep you turning the pages, very indepth, a true horror as its based on fact Very in depth, keep you up all night, youll be sleeping with the lights on

Straightforward space opera tale quirkily executed, interesting written format allows a large cast of characters to be defined purposefully, reasonably well-realised, if rather unconvincing, galactic civilisation. Lack of any real ideas at the heart of the bookover-reliance on violence to further the story (although, of course, this is a book about a war!)barely above average pulp science fiction.
