There are two books in this series- The Secrets of and More Secrets of Happy Children - and they are both packed with loads of good advice. The author,Steve Bidulph has been a child psychologist for many years. Some of his opinions might be a bit controversial, ie, he doesn't believe in working mothers, and feels that children under 3 should not be left with a minder unless it is absolutely essential. This aside, the books deal with such areas as shyness, sleep problems, bullying and sibling rivalry, in fact most situations you may come accross as a parent.
