In my quest for self-discovery, self-improvement and self-awareness I picked up Guy Finley’s book “The Secret of Letting Go”. I am aware that I have a tendency to obsess over things, whether they be mistakes I’ve made, things people have said or done to me or things that have otherwise happened that I struggle to understand, even when understanding is not a possible outcome. What drew me to the book was the example in the first chapter about a boy water-skiing for the first time.
