It's been a long time since I've read a book about fairies hidden in the forest. OK so technically speaking these creatures are more likely to be called Hobgoblins or Changelings. These changelings live a life of eating acorns, berries and other such foods that they are capable of foraging. The other part involves them seeking out young children who they can kidnap, then change their own appearance so they can then take the place of the once missing child. ____The Stolen Child - Keith Donohue___ This book was recommended to me when i said i quite liked fantasy books. __Storyline__ Henry Day (the main character) is only 7 when he gets kidnapped in the dark forest near his home. So what's the big deal? Children get kidnapped all the time,the difference with his kidnapping is that he gets kidnapped by fairy changelings,gets given a new identity and a child is left in his place. The story then goes between both boys. How will Henry cope with his new life,will he even remember the old?.Will the family be fooled into believing it is there son?
