The Stolen Voice is the fifth book written by Pat McIntosh about a lawyer called Gil Cunnigham set in Glasgow towards the end of the fifteenth century. Gil is a young man with a young beautiful French wife and a telent for solving murders in and around Glasgow. As with all the previous novels we get a tiny section describing how Gil felt about the murder in hindsight but its soon forgotten as the book goes on, with each murder and each book we are given more details about Gil and how he's progressing.
