This debut novel by Texan born Block looks at the devastation created by Alzheimer's disease - in particular Early Onset Alzheimer's. The inspiration for this book came from his own family experience, his Grandmother developed Alzheimer's and he became particularly interested (or rather worried) when his Grandmothers symptoms became worse and he read more on the subject and realised that the disease could be genetic and that his mother may develop it one day.
