I've yet to find a Jacqueline Wilson book that disappoints. As an award winning author, she has written many fantastic stories and novels, one of which being The SuitCase Kid.

In the Suitcase Kid, Andy's parents have split up and both have moved from their old cottage home, which she loved. She wishes she could stop being passed back and forth with both her divorced parents, and longs to move back to their cottage home. She decides she's had enough and runs away, taking her little toy mouse friend with her. She makes a cosy little home for her mouse in the base of a tree so he can live a dream, but will things turn out so perfect for Andy?

This book is aimed at some of the younger readers of Jacqueline Wilson's books, around 10 - 12. Nonetheless though, I still enjoy it, and it makes a fantastic light read as it does not take much concentration!

This has an RRP of £3.99, though if you time it right you can find it on amazon.co.uk or eBay for much less! If you fancy a light read and know you like Jacqueline Wilson, this is definitely not to be turned away from!
