I don't know what it is about this book, but it gets under your skin. It's a teen book, it has the cheesy tag line "How one seventeen year old turns a summer ice cold." All I can say is that when I picked it up in Oxfam, I took it home and read it in one sitting, then immediately turned back to the beginning to start again. Then last night, when I was just THINKING about reviewing it, I had nightmares that were essentially the plot of this book. (Maybe I should sue?)
