Sophie King definitely likes to write books which contain a lot of characters, and usually I don't like this type of scenario. I prefer a book with just 1 or 2 main characters so I can really concentrate on the unfolding story. However, King writes in such a way that it is easy to follow each of them with relative ease, and become intrigued with the lives of each of them. Although I do try to read a wide variety of material rather than sticking to the same few authors, I do keep a little note in the back of my diary for the new releases of my favourite authors as I tend to buy their books rather than get them from the library. Somehow, the new release by the brilliant Sophie King slipped past my radar, and I noticed it when I was working a shift in the library a few months ago. I quickly grabbed it and checked it out, ready to take home with me and was very eager to read it.
