Although I do try to read a wide variety of material rather than sticking to the same few authors, I do keep a little note in the back of my diary for the new releases of my favourite authors as I tend to buy their books rather than get them from the library. Somehow, the new release by the brilliant Sophie King slipped past my radar, and I noticed it when I was working a shift in the library a few months ago. I quickly grabbed it and checked it out, ready to take home with me and was very eager to read it.
