To say that I enjoy reading would be the understatement of the Century. There is something wonderful about picking up a book and being transported to a whole new world where anything really is possible. Although I have my usual genres I stick to, I do like to dip in and out of others as a pleasant change. I also like to sample the work of authors I am unfamiliar with, and when I was faced with 'The Things That Keep Us Here' by Carla Buckley, it came to my attention that I had neither heard of the author nor did I tend to read the apparent genre much.
