This is the second book I have read by Follet and as with the first I was unable to put it down. The story takes place over the period of one week and believe me you live every day of that week alongside the characters! We are introduced to a bright young scientist – Dr Jeannie Ferrami, who is undertaking research into the ‘nature –vs- nurture’ argument, in short she is searching for twins who have been brought up apart from one another, to try determine, why people become criminals, is it a genetic trait or a ‘learned’ trait.
