Advantages: very touching
Disadvantages: cant put it down
I read this book about a year ago and still it amazes me how the plot all fits together so superbly.
This is a tale about a man who travels through time. He keeps meeting this child/woman. If you can imagine her life in real time, and his as a time traveller. Very touching moments from both sides.
Very difficult to put down once you have started reading it.
The characters in this story compliment one another perfectly. As a young man, the gentleman in the story keeps his distance from the young girl and has an uncle/older friend relationship with her, as she grows up and develops into a woman the tale develops into a love staory and the struggles they endure together and as individuals never knowing when they will meet again.
A beautifully told tale. I am very excited about going to see this at the cinema with my wife. She read it twice and was gripped both times. If you are off on a bank holiday I would highly recommend this book, there is nothing sciency about it, it is the tale of two people, two lives being brough together through different periods of time.
Summary: a romantic tale that isnt too girly, I hope the film isnt chick flick style
