This book is my favourite book ever!

The Time travellers wife is the story of Henry and Clare. Claire first met Henry was 6 and Henry was in his 40's, then when Clare was 20 she met Henry when he was 28 in real time, he did not know Clare. They go on to fall in love, with consequences.

The story may have what some would call a stupid or confusing storyline. I will admit that i found the book in the beginning before they meet in real-time a bit confusing. However for new readers, Clare's age grows as normal, Henry time travels in and out, then they meet in real-time when clare is 20 & Henry 28, then we have Real-time Henry travel back in time to a younger Clare. pheww... that is a bit confusing.

The book is devastatingly lovely, and has an awfully sad ending, which im sure you can guess, but I shall not reveal. I was actually in floods of tears.

What I really loved about the story was that its not the perfect romance, Henry and Clare love Punk music, go to gigs, get drunk still find others hot. Its realistic in that sense of relationships are never perfect as fairytales portray them. The reader knows Henry and Clare love eachother and would not cheat, but theirs the trials and tribulations mixed with the fantasy of the story.

The book is masterpiece I recommend to any female within the region of 18-60ish. Its lovely, sad, funny and a really great read.

I look forward to seeing the film!
