... That is our first glimpse of what the story is about. Grace is an overworked single Mother with the CSI team although she had previously worked as a doctor. It is not overly clear why she left working as a doctor although there are a few hazy implications throughout the book. The relationship between the central characters is not very realistic. I was actually given this book and did not go to the shop and buy it for myself, though it is the sort of book I might have picked out while shopping. The copy I have looks a little different from the Dooyoo picture, it has a burgandy cover, so I assume this is available in at least two different cover styles if not more. On Amazon it is priced at £5.49 and I would have been really quite disappointed with this book had I paid that much for it. If I could give 6 stars I would None some of the stories are better than others but the worse is only very good

Clever plot, incredible denouement Weak characterisation

Fast pace, good characters, great central relationship Now cliche, just like the film

Great finale, nice action set pieces Too slow to begin with, a little hammy at times

A decent enough read but not spectacular Not the best by the author

Solid story, Alex is a sympathetic character Lacked originality, were is the interrogation?
