This book is the second book in a series by Andy McDermott starring Dr Nina Wilde & Eddie Chase. Nina, is a marine archaeologist and Eddie is her bodyguard / boyfriend, an former SAS soldier. Nina has been appointed as a director of the IHA which deals with underwater excavations. The story starts on board an underwater research station which is destroyed and all those aboard are killed by a group of unknown men and made to look like it had occurred as the result of a bad storm.
