The Truth about Love is Jane Elizabeth Varley's third novel, and in my opinion, it is just as good as her first two. Like her other books, it is a good story about modern day life and the trials and tribulations of modern relationships. It follows the lives of two women who are linked by living at the same address - Sally with her family in the main house and Anna in the basement flat. Sally is married to Edward and they have a two year old son called Louie.
