I enjoyed the second TV series of The Tudors immensely so when I spotted the accompanying novel in the library I grabbed it on a whim, when I got home and studied it further I was pleased to see it was written by Elizabeth Massie. When I lived in the States I read many of her novels as she is a very popular writer over there, but since returning to the UK it is rare to find any of her work without actively seeking it out. The Tudors: King Takes Queen recounts the relationship between King Henry VIII and his second, and most notorious, wife Anne Boleyn.
