Too complicated, conclusion not satisfactory

Story is quite interesting
Theory side to the book is rather heavy
My First Touch and Feel Picture Cards
Bright, colourful, pictures of animals, sturdy, wipeclean
Limited in use, too wide age range, tatty at the corners
Secret Seven Fireworks - Enid Blyton

light reading
too long and meandering plot

Shows how much fun eating can be
none

Some great ideas
No resolution to any of the plot strands. Lots of stuff left unexplained.

You may stay up till 3am to finish it!!
Cross - James Patterson
Patterson is always readable, good, strong basic plot
Burdened with too much background knowledge, characters starting to be unrealistic
