I have the 2000 edition of the virgin film guide book, well i say book but doorstop would be a more accurat term, this book is huge but surprisingly light. It basically reviews most (but not every) film pre-2000 giving all the basic info, such as title, year, director stars and star rating (but i think this rating system is a bit 'off' as they give class films such as Mallrats only 1 star) It also give a very short but consice description of the film.
