Advantages: a really good author and book!

Disadvantages: none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right I'm soooooooo sorry to everyone who's been waiting for my new review, but you lot have to wait no longer, my GCSE course work is totally finish and even though it's being submitted next week, I think I deserve a break. So I've stopped my revision for my exams to do to a nice review for you lot ok?

Now I think I've had this book since I was five and I remember never finishing it based on the fact that it was really scary. I hated horror book at that age and also wasn't a fan of Point Horror. But now I am and I'm dreadfully upset to find out that they've gone and disappeared. I love the way these books are created and I think they are a real inspiration to everyone who would like to go down the author career route, as they are simple but brilliant. And if a publisher did the same as Point Horror has, then tonnes of new authors would find limelight. Famous authors (from the Point Horror series) include R.L. Stine, Richie Tankersley Cusick, Malcolm Rose & Caroline B. Cooney to name a few. Although there has been a few books from this series I've read that I thought the author should have became famous only they didn't, here's a few I think: Samantha Lee (Read Reviews on Demon & Demon II), and also this author Sinclair Smith. If Point Horror had lasted for a little longer I reckon these authors would have been famous, and I really feel for these authors, it usually is the ones whose books are quite possibly the best ones of the series.

Sinclair Smith is an author who was born in 1938. He has only ever written 8 books that have been released. They all happen to have been released by the point horror series and I bet you that Sinclair had written many other books, but Point Horror may have disappeared by the time he wanted them published, I feel sorry for this author as his books are really good and I think he would have became famous if Point Horror kept on going.

This book is about a new girl who comes into town, no one knows much about her and then she decides to get a part-time job as a waitress. She makes lots of new friends, but none of them tells her what is wrong with the closure of a restaurant. But then she finds out and the same thing happens at the place she is works at, but who did it?

I like the Point Horror series mainly because it's surprising about who did it. You guess and guess, and then right at the end it's discovered and you kick yourself because it was obvious only you never thought it was that person! They usually take the minor characters as the culprits (like it does in this book) but sometimes it's a main that you have totally forgotten about.

You can tell I enjoyed reading this book based on the fact that I have given it 5 stars. I really enjoyed this and I really think you would too. This book (on the sides of the front and back cover) has got little indents where I may have been gripping onto the book a little too tight, this was because it was very tense at times, and therefore I was a little scared, but I truly believe this book is no where near scary and only is in the horror section based on the fact that it is in the Point Horror collection.

I enjoyed this book and I think you would too, so I totally recommend this and look out for more reviews on the point horror collection! Thank you all for reading!!!
