... almost every grumble. What Does He Moan About Then? Pretty much everything, from gypsies to Simon Cowell, from awful family Christmasses to vegans. Nothing is sacred as he digs his claws in and lets rip at society. I particularly like his vicious tongue and sarcasm which means the book provokes laugh after laugh. A lot of the stories are anecdotal and you can picture Clarkson getting himself in a tizz, as he bemoans his dog and the cost of keeping it. There are bouts of bad language, but nothing that will make y...more

You will have an idea what to expect from this book if you watch Top Gear. Jeremy Clarkson is much like Marmite, it's a love or hate thing. Luckily, I get his humour and also agree with pretty much everything he says in this book! 288 pages and broken up into easily digestible chapters, Clarkson's book is basically one long moan. The man manages to tell things like they are and hits the nail on the head each time. You will find yourself thinking 'Yes! That is totally right!' with almost every grumble. What Does He Moan About Then? Pretty much everything, from gypsies to Simon Cowell, from awful family Christmasses to vegans. Nothing is ...  Read the complete review

Being a massive fan of Top Gear and all thrre of its presenters, Volume 3 of 'The World according to Clarkson' was a must read for me. The book is made up of Clarkson's articles in the Times about various topics including his children, education, general topics and mainly the government. With plenty of mentions about men in hi-vis jackets. Written between the 1st of January 2006 until the 30th of December 2007. There are 82 chapters in the book, each lasting around 3-4 pages, which jump from topic to topic. To fully appreciate this book you will have to have an understanding of Clarkson's general attitude. It is also helpful if your not ...  Read the complete review

It would seem since the inception of Dave it is almost impossible to turn the TV on these days and not be confronted with Jeremy Clarkson. His views on the current state of the Country and the world keep millions entertained every week on TV and in the papers, so it wasn't really a surprise to see the release of the 3rd edition of the World According To Clarkson. Once again the book collates a number of articles written for the Times news paper between 1st January 2006 and the 31st December 2007, covering a variety of subjects. As any viewer of Top Gear will have realised his views are getting a little closer to the mark the older he seems to get. It's no ...  Read the complete review
