On first being made to read it to Boy it drove me barmy because it it's SO repetitive - and must admit after being forced to read again bad mummy skips the pages singing " and another fell out (turn page) and another fell out..." Is GREAT for little boy though. Although I thought it a bit beneath him - having no trains cars planes bugs etc - it has its plus side. He can 'read' it himself and with a nudge can tell me what words are what (recognise words) and so helps him read pr...more

Ten Bears in a Bed... Yep there were ten bears in a bed....and the little one said "Roll over, Roll over ! " You know the one. Well I do and Great-Grandmas (bless her) bought this book among other things for Boy this Christmas. 'There were Ten Bears in a Bed - A count-and-feel book ' I didn't hold out much hope for this one and foresaw it's future at the bottom of his book collection, but it seems I was wrong. Is classed as suitable for 3 years and over - I guess that's down to the teddy bear heads in case they get prised out and chewed upon though it is a pretty big and sturdy book.
