Paul Theroux is a brilliant travel writer. I haven't read all his travel books but the ones I have read were great. The travel books he has written: The Great Railway Bazaar, Kingdom by the Sea, Pillars of Hercules, the Old Patagonia Express, Sunrise with Sea monsters, Riding the Iron Rooster, Happy Isles of Oceania, Travelling the World.
