This is Actually My Party - Lauren Child

One of the first ever reviews I wrote was on the delightful characters that I will try and review now, though this time I hope it is better received than the first time around! The book I will now review is - "Charlie and Lola - this is actually my party!" My children both adore charlie and lola as many children do, having seen the television programme i thought it would be good for them to read a book of the programme to apprecialte the fact that it was originally a book. This story is really amusing and centers around Charlie's birthday party. Lola, as usual is really excitable and eager. Although she does not mean any harm she intentionally tries to take over charlie's party first by opening all his presents and cards, then turning his monster themed party into a pink flowers one.
