Emily is a lovely little book in the 'My Thomas Story Library'. She is a single Stirling Engine and she is a dark green colour with yellow trims. The cover of the book has a picture of Emily and above this is a pink banner with the title in yellow writing. The back cover of the book has smaller pictures of the other titles available in the collection. THE STORY The first page in the book has a introduction to Emily from the fat Controller, he tells us that when she first arrived on the island the other engines were very unfriendly to her but they soon learnt that things are not always as them seem.
