Freddie is a train who works on the Island of Sodor with Thomas and he is a big and fast grey engine. This book forms part of the My Thomas Story Library and is number 45. The cover of the book has a picture of Freddie and a light blue banner above with the title of the book in grey lettering. The back cover of the book is also light blue and has smaller pictures showing other books available in this collection. THE STORY The first page in the book shows a picture of the fat controller who introduces us to Freddie, he tells us that he is a very fast engine and believed that he was the fastest on the island.
