My 22 month old twin boys have just inherited a load of books from the Bootsale, many characters and stories including winnie the pooh and Thomas and Friends. So far it's only the Thomas and Friends books they have shown any interest in as they are 'choo choo' mad but we have only read one of them so far. The only book we've read out of the Thomas and Friends collection is Toby! All the books are small square books, brighty coloured and thinly papered so if you are looking to keep these don't let small children loose with them as they will be easily ripped apart. Hello my name is Toby and I am a tram engine, I have cowcatchers and side plates. I am brown in colour and pull a special carriage called Henrietta. We used to be really busy, pulling trucks and carrying passengers on a little line near a holiday town. In time the passengers preferred to go on the buses and it was decided that our line was to be closed. People used to laugh at me and call me old fashioned, except for one gentleman and his family who, during their holiday used to come and see us every day. Toby is a small book in the My Thomas Story Library. He is a Tram Engine. He is brown in colour.
