Advantages: Good recipes in certain time frames

Disadvantages: not the sort of food I cook all the time

I enjoy watching Gary Rodes on televison, not his early apperances but later on in his cooking career, so I took a chance on one of his books and picked 'Time to Eat'. I took it home and read it back to back curled up on the sofa and even though I read it all, I wouldnt read it again. I like to look through and picked what I fancied at the time at first reading.

Garys book comes in certain sections, Quick fixes, ready between certain times, Slow cooking and when you have all the time in the world to cook all day, aswell as the usual puds are thrown in at the end.

My favourite out of the recipies are the Lamb chops that is cooked with onions and sweet peppers, this is easy to follow and makes a great tasting meal for the family. My favourite pud is the mango cheesecake fool which is really refreshing and doesnt last long in my house!

If I am not looking for anything specific then i will pick another cook book other than this one, but if I want to cook something in a certain time then I will look for this on my shelf evertime.
