Advantages: Fantastic book - my alltime favourite

Disadvantages: None - at all

To Kill a Mockingbird is my favourite book of all time. I first read it when I was at school as part of CSE English and became embroiled in the small town with small minds and the thoughts and actions of three children and the way the events played out.

I love Atticus who obviously struggles with his position and the fact that he did have a life before he was tragically left with two small children. The wondeful Arthur (Boo) Radley and how a hero does not always have to be loud and obvious.

As a girl I related to Scout (Jean Louise) as I was a tom boy too - and the scrapes she got into stills brings a smile to my face.

The unfortunate Tom Robinson - whose only crime was to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I love this book and every so often just have to re-visit it.

Summary: Great book - for life
