Tommy Sullivan is a Freak - Meg Cabot

Here are some of the good things about this book: it has a swish pink and silver cover. It comes with a wrap around cover for the cover, which has furry black writing on, and is fun to stroke (see photo above). The main character, Katie, is captured perfectly, and you couldn't argue that she wasn't a realistic character. Finally, she takes part in a beauty pageant in the book - and I love stories about beauty pageants, even if they do have dubious names like 'Quahog Princess'.
