Advantages: A good horror movie.

I enjoyed this book/film very much, as i didn't know what would happen next. You are kept sitting on the edge of your seat. It is not for kids though only adults as it maay be too scary for them. The acting and special effects were brillant in this film. So if you haven't seen it give it ago and watch it. And you can't put the book down either once you start reading.

The film is set in Haven, which is in Maine.It was a beautiful spring day. Bobbi Anderson, and her dog Peter, are taking a walk in the woods near her house. She falls over something and finds it to be some kind of metal, and for some reason she feels compelled to dig it up.

While she is digging it up, she notices some abnormal changes in her body, like heavier monthly bleeding and a she loses 2 teeth aswell. Her dog who is quite old is changing aswell too. He has become more like a young dog not a dog growing older and his eyes are getting better so he can see again. She wonders why all this is happening. Why she continues to dig deeper the effects like hers are happening all over Haven. The people of Haven get angry and irritable, and strange ideas appear in their heads to do with inventions to do with battery's and this green light controls everything. Even to the extent of a child going missing from a young boy performing magic tricks that the Tommyknockers had put in his head.

Then her partner comes home and for some reason he isn't affected but protends he is at one stage and he gets bad headaches whenever he is near this object but he helps bobbi dig it up. The more they reveal of the thing which turns out to be the tommyknockers ship. The more weirder things happen and things getting made like Ray guns and new power sources and many more weird things. People die or dissapear into lipstick containers(you will understand this if you see the film).

All the time the people are getting the green eyes and are becoming tommyknockers themselves. T
hey are start to look really different and act differently aswell. For some reason Bobbi's partner isn't affected and they manage to get into the ship and it ends by him flying the craft away with the aliens surrounding him and the ship blows up. When that happens everyone returns to their normal selves and go back to their usual lives.
