Disadvantages: Dull and painfully slow.

Aliens are just not Kings strong point. I'm a huge King fan and Tommyknockers is one of the few i didnt like.
It was slow so it took me literally forever to get into. I didnt find any of the characters engaging or attractive. I just couldnt warm to Tommyknockers at all.
Generally I felt it lacked Kings usual energy and style. Its quite a long book too which doesnt help when you're bored half way through.
I gave up somewhere in the middle, which is not like me so you can tell i really hated it.
I think its perfectly summed up by the awful movie that was made of it.
Tommyknockers is dull as dirt, and really doesn't do justice to Kings talent.
