Advantages: A great insight into the characters of Torchwood
Disadvantages: -
Trace Memory is about how a young man Michael Bellini has met all the members of Torchwood throughout their lives before they joined. Michael disappeared after a crate exploded on the docks of Cardiff in 1953, exactly 55 years later he is found by Jack in an unused part of the Torchwood hub's basements. Why does each member seem to remember him?
I really enjoyed this story as I felt it allowed me to develop my understanding of the torchwood character's lives before they joined the institute itself. It also give me an insight into Jack's past and how he coped on his own before properly joining Torchwood and I think this is important because Jack is a character that very few people know anything about.
The book itself was published in 2008 and is written by David Llewellyn. The book is a hardback and has 249 pages. It can currently be bought from most good book shops and at the majority of online retailers. It retails usually for a price of £6.99 but can be purchased cheaper if you shop around.
Summary: A brilliant book for all Torchwood fans
