Torturer and the Ticking Bomb is the book by Bob Breacher, reader of moral philosophy at the University of Brighton. What this book is about is, examining what are the claims to allow torture and what he believes is the correct answer. The reason that I purchased this book, was because of my legal philosophy course work on the subject of torture and the differing philosophy points of view on the subject. Within the book Breacher summaries the argument put forward by one of the leading calls for the introduction of torture, Alan Dershowitz.
