My son is now just over a year old and has become very interested in books so I took him to our local library recently in search of some new books to read with him. This was one of the books I picked out, mostly because he really likes touchy-feely books and also because he seems to get really excited whenever he sees an animal be it on the TV, in a book or in real life. ~~~ Description of the Book ~~~ This is a board book which has 12 pages (if you include the front and back covers). It is fairly small in size at about 15cm square. The front cover has a hole in it so you can feel the fur of the rabbit on the first page. There are five different ... Read the complete review

I'm a big fan of Dorling Kindersley's books for children and this is one of the many that I have. - The Book - This is a combination of a fiction and non-fiction book and as the name suggests it's focus is on touching and feeling a range of baby animals. It begins by inviting the reader to come and see the baby animals. Each double page focuses on a different animal: 'Stroke the baby rabbit.' 'Scratch the rough skin on the baby elephants' ears.' 'Feel the fluffy yellow duckling.' 'Touch the smooth velvety calf.' 'Tickle the furry baby gorilla.' There are photographs of ... Read the complete review
