Rating:
This is a collection of short stories, and as such is quite forgiving - because you're not forced to read a whole book's worth of each. The stories vary in subject, verging occasional on the fantastical (erotic feelings towards flies?) but all share on the part of the author a distinct contempt for the characters contained within. He seems to want to punish his creations, and in doing so not only fails to invent any likeable characters, but also turns the reader against him. Some of the endings are a a little abrupt, and don't feel thought out, and the whole book makes for a rather uncomfortable, and patchy read. Not recommended. ... Read the complete review
