Europe on a Shoestring: Big Trips on Small Budgets:
... 2006 my friend and I travelled around Europe visiting Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands in one month. This book was our Bible! It gives excellent information on getting there, getting around, suggested routes, how much things cost, staying safe, where to go, when to go there etc. For each city it tells you general information about the place - the language, ... Manana Manana - Peter Kerr ... the end of chapter one I had a feeling I was missing something, by the end of chapter two I was convinced I most definitely was. I d lost the plot quite literally. Manana Manana launches into life as with a Scottish Dairy farming family and their teenage sons who have moved to Mallorca to become fruit farmers. Could be a fascinating read although when the book in question starts they ve already been ensconced in their rural Mallorcan idyll for a year. The cover implies that the author has previously written books about Mallorcan life but no where does it say " the sequel to" or any other implication that theres a big chunk of life missing from this book whic... Eyewitness Travel Guides: Barcelona - Pocket Map and Guide ... I wanted to take a guidebook with me, but I didn t want to haul a massive great volume around. I wanted something small, concise and packed with useful information to guide me through a few days in the Catalonian capital. A bit of research and I came to the conclusion that my best option was the Pocket Map and Guide from DK s Eyewitness Travel range. After perusing the web I eventually bought a copy of the 2006 edition on ebay for the grand sum of £2.50 including postage (retail price is £3.99). There is a more recent edition available but I figured that there probably hadn t been that many changes since 2006 and as I was only going for 4 days this one would be fine. T... Hidden Mickeys - Steven M. Barrett ... six years ago we took our children to Orlando for the first time. I thought I would hate Disneyland and all the rest but actually I surprised myself by having a really good time. We have now visited four times with another trip planned next year so you could certainly say we were converts! As some of you may know I love researching before I go on holiday and whilst originally searching for Disney information I occasionally came across the phrase "Hidden Mickey" but I ignored it and was none the wiser. We went and had a great holiday. The next year I researched again and found that "Hidden Mickeys" could be found all over Walt Disney World so...
