Written by comedian Dave Gorman and his best mate, Danny Wallace, this is a truly original and very amusing book. The first time I ever heard of Dave Gorman was when my husband was given a DVD of Dave Gorman s Googlewhack Adventure show for Christmas. We watched it whilst we both had food poisoning. I have never laughed so much whilst being sick in my life. The man was quite hysterically funny. Rough Guide to Cuba - Fiona McAuslan ... sterling to convertible tourist peso (CUC) and then into local peso. However I also found the way they set out the exchange rates a little misleading as it is not the way they are normally displayed in economic and tourist tables. What is also very useful in the Basics section is the focus on Culture and Etiquette as well as for me Travelling with Children. The section on culture and etiquette is excellent and helped me plan my trip as it highlighted the fact that while monetary tips are always well received it also explained the benefits of non-monetary tips as well within Cuban culture as well as the rise of hustling in the cities. Absolutely Advantages: Handy to Carry Around Disadvantages: can get out of date Recommend to potential buyers: yes Full review Berlitz Pocket Guides are very useful to take away with you when you go travelling. They are packed with great information and very nicely presented. Easy to follow sections. As they are pocket size they are very easy to carry in ones hand luggage and I now have a collection of them on my bookshelf.
