I may as well tell you right here at the beginning, I am a poet. Not a great one nor even a good one but as I really write for my own pleasure that doesn’t matter too much. Another thing is that I generally at my most creative when I am depressed so for that reason I am delighted to tell you that I haven’t written a poem for a very long time! Not only do I write poems but I also enjoy reading poetry written by those with a true, deep, natural talent. Now as I not only enjoy poetry but also admire Trevor McDonald when I saw this book sitting quietly on a shelf I couldn’t resist buying it and I’m here to tell you that I am pleased ...
