If you've watched the TV sequel then you'll enjoy this even more as you'll vividly picture the characters in great detail.

It captures your imagination and touches on a few nerves especially if you have children. A child is found murdered, found by a police officer who suffers emotionally for the experience.

It takes a turn which you don't expect and like her other novels you are kept rivetted to find out what happens next. The characters are memorable and you can feel their distress.

Part II has been published but I haven't purchased it yet but I can't wait to read it.


I've now read all 4 of the series and I can honestly say I wasn't bored with reading them. I felt I was part of the story and could picture everything that was going on just as if I was watching it on TV.
