If you think that this movie would enlighten you by revealing the biggest secret on earth What women want? Then you will be disappointed especially the male audience but ladies may like it as they can compare a few moments with their own thoughts. It’s more about what different women like wife, daughter, lover, colleagues think at different occasions.
I t is the story of a Chicago advertising executive (Mel Gibson) who is divorced and have a 15 year old daughter. He is a charmer who has his way with women but does not really care what women want or think. Just when he think he will become the chief another director is hired who is a woman (Helen Hunt) and the sole purpose of his life becomes to outwit his new boss. Then this miracle occurs and he gets the ability to listen to what women are thinking about and from here on it’s just a plain romantic comedy but a really funny one.
The direction is ok, acting is average, there are a lot of women in Hollywood who could have done this role better than Helen Hunt. Mel Gibson gives his usual performance and nothing-extra ordinary. The idea of the movie is new and good.
Over all the movie is ok, It is not what it has been projected for but it has it’s funny moments and if you don’t keep your expectations high and watch it as just another romantic comedy then you will enjoy it.

Leave Helen Hunt alone ;-)
