Tribute - Nora Roberts
by jenmck - written on 17/02/09 (Very useful, 37 readings)
Rating:
suicide? As the attacks on her property grow more violent, she and Ford try to find out who wants her to leave, or worse. My Opinion: This is Nora Roberts at her best. The characters are well drawn and interesting. Cilla is very believable as the failed star struggling to find her way, and deal with not only her own ghosts but also those of her mother and grandmother. She is a strong capable woman who has never found her vocation until now. The romance between her and Ford is a slow burner. There is an immediate attraction but they take their time, so the reader can get to know the characters before they fall for each other. A lot of romance novels rely on a ...

Dance Upon the Air - Nora Roberts

Rating:
Dance Upon the Air By Nora Roberts There is something about a good bit of romantic fiction that works wonders for the soul, I feel. Boy meets girl, boy likes girl, girl likes boy, everything is dandy till fate throws a spanner or other such obstacle in their path, all hell breaks loose, they fight the good fight together to make good, and are finally reunited in a glow of romantic-ness (I know, I made that word up, but you’ll have to let me off on that. It’s a good word. Very descriptive!) Mills and Boon here we come. Except that Nora Roberts is no Mills and Boons read – her characters are well thought out and researched, her plot is never cumbersome and plodding, and ...
