Tunnels Of Blood is the third installment of Darren Shans epic story of a boy called Darren. Darren Shan wrote a set of books where he uses himself as the main character. The set of books is about a boy called Darren Shan who becomes a vampires assistant and the books follow his life. Shan has written over 10 books about the saga of Darren Shanand all follow on from the last. Outline of story so far. Well in the first book it introduces you to the character of Darren. Darren is quite a normal boy with some normal friends. Darren though loves spiders and likes to keep them in his bedroom with him (Wierdo). Darren has about four close friends but his ... In my review of Darren Shan and the tunnels of blood I will not contain any spoilers of the book but I may write a few hints in and I will write about the first book in the series as it is necessary for you to understand as to what is happening. For this reason I would suggest you not reading this review if you are going to read the first book and want everything which happens in Darren Shan: Cirque Du Freak to be a surprise I would recommend you not to read the rest of the review. In the first book Darren Shan and his best friend Steve go to circus and Darren is amazed about a spider which does tricks. So later on that night he steals the spider. When showing ... This is the third book in the Saga of Darren Shan series about Vampires. Darren Shan, the author and main character, was turned into a half-vampire as part of a bargain to save his friend's life in the first book, 'Cirque du Freak'. He had to leave his home and family, who think he is dead, and lead the life of a vampire, or at least a half-vampire - he can still walk about in daylight. This book continues his story. It begins with a scene, which we will catch up on later in the book. It is set in an abattoir, Mr Crepsley, Darren's Vampire Master, is closing in on a fat man, Darren leaps out wielding a knife, intent upon stopping Mr Crepsley even ... Read the complete review

This is the third book in the Saga of Darren Shan series written from the point of view of the author Darren Shan with himself as themain character. The first two books saw his transition from human life to being a half-vampire and this book sees him encounter more of the blood-sucking kind. After moving to Mr. Crepsley's home town Darren begins to get suspicious of his masters whereabouts during the night. He has other things t worry about initially as he enrols in the local school and falls in love with a girl from the area. However, Mr. Crepsleys absences seem to coincide with gruesome events happening elsewhere in the town. Darren's suspicions get the ... Read the complete review

The third book in the Shan saga. This is possibly the best book in the saga. It is perhaps the only one that is strong enough to be a stand alone story. To put it another way - this book would make the best movie! We are back with Darren who is recovering from the events of book 2. Now however there is a new threat. There is an evil vampire on the loose in Mr. Crepsleys home town. These eveil vampires are known as the vampaneze. They look different to normal vampires and they kill when they drink from humans. He must be stopped before he kills more pople. Its up to Darran and Evra to help. As the plot unfolds things take a sinister turn and Darran has some serious ... Read the complete review
