Mickey Duff had a long and distinguished career as a boxing promoter and manager, eventually becoming the most powerful figure in British boxing. He began by staging small shows in London's East End and ended up as a global and influential player on the boxing scene. During his career Duff was involved with nineteen world champions including John Conteh, Terry Downes, Alan Minter, Lloyd Honeyghan, Barry McGuigan, Frank Bruno and Joe Calzaghe.
