Advantages: a lot happens

Disadvantages: quite a big book, and parts of the story lead you into thinking it could be boring

Meyer had a lot of things to tie up in the last book, so you can understand why it's so long. Will Bella become a vampire? Will she get married? What will happen?

We'll take that last question - a lot will happen. Don't read if you don't want to know.

They get married. She gets pregnant (maybe a nice we indicator that people should use contraception if they don't want babies. Or resist that burning urge inside them!). She nearly dies, and gets turned into a vampire. Through some sort of mix up the Volturi think the Cullens have created some sort of immortal child and set out to destroy it.

I have to admit, when I read the part when Bella realized she was pregnant I did think to myself "aw no, bit boring now" but I was pleasantly surprised with the way the rest of the story panned out. It was not at all what I expected and was much faster paced and exciting than my first thought - the author makes the subject of pregnancy interesting to younger readers without being a bit preachy about it.

Overall, this is a thrilling end to the twilight saga and well worth a read. Will be a bookshelf staple forever for me.

Summary: an excellent book for young adults
