Twinkles, Arthur and Puss - Judith Kerr

Grandpa has a lovely black cat called Puss. He feeds puss all sorts of treats including bacon and chips. The Jones family also have a black cat who they call Twinkles. Lady Daisy found a black cat outside her window one day, and she has decided to call him Arthur. One day all three cats, Arthur, Twinkles and Puss disappear and Grandpa, The Jones' and Lady Daisy all search for them. At the end of the book we find out that Puss, Twinkles and Arthur are all in fact the same cat! And she is pregnant and has her kittens.
