I have loved this book since i was young and now my children like it too. Mr and mrs twit are horrid looking story characters, the story begins with lots of detail about mr twit and his horridly disgusting beard and all the moldy horrid food that never quite made it to his mouth. Mr and mrs twit are horrid people but very funny, they spend all day playing mean tricks on each other. Mrs twit hides her glass eye ball in mr twits drink, and wholst cooking spagetti for his dinner she puts worms in to his dinner. Mr twit puts a frog in mrs twits bed. The twits love to make bird pie, with real birds, how disgusting. They cover there tree ...

*Introduction* Once you’ve read one Roald Dahl book, you want to read more. “George’s Marvellous Medicine” quickly turned into “The Twits” in a brief hailstorm of Dahl children’s stories. Better still is that I’ve discovered that there are plenty of titles like “The Enormous Crocodile” and “The Magic Finger” that I’ve yet to try. One shouldn’t forget that there is a wide range of titles appealing to all cross sections of readers by Dahl. These include further books for younger children, books for older readers like “The BFG” and “The Witches”, picture books like “Dirty Beasts” and “Revolting Rhymes”, plays like “The BFG: Plays for Children” and finally, teenage ...
